Because the proof is in the pudding.

Vyond

Vyond is my go-to tool for creating short, engaging videos that help people quickly grasp new concepts. I love how it brings ideas to life in a way that feels simple, visual, and fun — perfect for microlearning and internal communications. In fact, employees are 75% more likely to watch a video than read text.

Video also lends itself beautifully to storytelling — something I incorporate whenever possible. Research shows that people remember information presented through a well-crafted story up to 22 times more than when the same data is shared on its own.
Video: Deepfakes, a growing threat

Purpose: Raise awareness about the use of deepfakes in financial crimes

Audience: Company-wide compliance training

Strategy: Transform a traditional PowerPoint bulleted list into a concise, story-driven video to boost engagement and create greater awareness of deepfakes and their implications.

Video: Product Compliance: CAN-SPAM

Purpose: Create awareness about legal issues related to product design

Audience: Product Engineers

Strategy: This training series used a recurring character and narrative thread to tie together ten distinct legal topics. The storytelling approach helped engineers recognize potential legal risks they might not have been aware of otherwise.

She's not afraid to try something new and is always open to feedback.  ~ Michael Whatley, Senior Manager of Learning Design, Cox Automotive

Camtasia

For creating polished video tutorials, Camtasia is one of my preferred platforms. Video is an excellent medium for internal communications, especially pre-learning introductions, and post-learning reinforcement - it captures attention and helps information stick. With Camtasia’s powerful screen recording and editing features, it’s also ideal for producing clear, engaging software demonstrations.
Video: Shift/Grow Overview

Purpose: Introduce managers to the launch of a management development program

Audience: Program sponsors, managers/mentors

Strategy: introduce a new management program — its structure, commitments, and benefits — using an engaging format that replaced the typical email or memo to boost visibility and engagement.
